Joel M. Neutel, MD

Dr. Joel M. Neutel is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, and Director of Research at the Orange County Research Center in Tustin, where he serves as Principal Investigator on many multinational cardiovascular trials. Dr. Neutel received his medical degree at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Veterans’ Administration Medical Center in Long Beach and the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Neutel has authored numerous abstracts, journal articles, and book chapters. He has conducted extensive research in such disciplines as cardiovascular medicine, endocrinology, and central nervous system disorders, with special attention to the pharmacotherapy of associated diseases.
